Help menu
The Help menu lets
you view the documentation for Finale Dialog boxes, menus and palettes.
You can also display the help system for a particular menu command or
dialog box by pressing F1.
- User Manual. Choose this command to open the PrintMusic User Manual.
- QuickStart Videos. Choose this menu item to launch a separate application that will show you basic functionality in Finale via a video on your computer monitor. The video is narrated and shows how to access tools and menus throughout the programs. If you don't like to read tutorials and manuals, this video is for you.
- Shortcuts & Character Maps. This submenu includes character sets for all of Finale's included fonts as well as a list of all of Finale's keyboard shortcuts.
- PrintMusic Website. Choose this menu item to go to the PrintMusic Website for information about PrintMusic and MakeMusic Notation Products.
- Authorize PrintMusic. Choose this menu item to authorize your copy of PrintMusic with MakeMusic via the Internet. Authorized Users of PrintMusic have access to Technical Support and notification of future updates and upgrades.
- Trade-up to Finale. Choose this option to trade-up to Finale.
- Check for PrintMusic Updates. Choose this menu item to view the latest updated version of PrintMusic from MakeMusic via the Internet. These updates can be downloaded to registered users.
- About PrintMusic. This dialog box displays the user's name and serial number along with the current software version number and ways to contact Customer Support.
To view this dialog box, go to the Help menu and choose About PrintMusic.
