To change
a rest’s duration
- Click the Speedy Entry tool
; click the target measure.
The editing frame appears.
- Click the rest. You can also use the
arrow keys to position the cursor.
- Press the number key corresponding to the desired
new duration. (See the table of number key/rest value equivalents
in To add a rest.)
The rest changes to the specified duration.
