To erase a note from a chord

1. Click the Speedy Entry tool  . Click the measure in question.
2. Click the notehead you want to delete. You can also use the arrow keys to position the insertion bar and crossbar on the notehead.
3. Press CLEAR (laptop users Fn-6) or SHIFT+DELETE. Alternative method: Click the Simple Entry tool , click the Eraser icon , and click directly on the notehead to be erased.
