To change the enharmonic spelling of a chord

  1. Click the Speedy Entry tool image\Speedy_Entry_Tool.gif, and click the measure in question.
  2. Position the insertion bar on the chord. You can position it either by clicking or by using the arrow keys.
  3. Position the crossbar on the note (to change a single pitch) or the stem (to change the “spelling” of the entire chord).
  4. Press the 9 key. Each time you press 9, the note or chord changes its enharmonic spelling.
