Finale Numerics font

The Finale Numerics font includes all the characters you need to create harmonic analysis and figured bass. Zero-width characters allow you to easily stack characters in three distinct levels from top to bottom . Use the Lyrics tool icon to add your harmonic analysis or figured bass beneath the staff. For instructions, see Harmonic analysis and Figured bass. The Finale Numerics font is designed for use with U.S. keyboard layouts only. Certain characters in non-U.S. layouts are located on different keys than those listed in this section.

If a keystroke is separated by a plus sign (+), the keys must be pressed in succession. If a keystroke combination is separated by a comma, type the first keystroke combination, release the keys, and press the character after the comma. All of these characters can also be selected by using Text > Font to choose the desired font and Text > Inserts > Symbol to open the Symbol Selection dialog box.
