- Double-click the score to open the Place Graphic dialog box (which is similar in functionality).
What it does
Use this dialog box to open an existing PrintMusic file or that you want to work on in PrintMusic.
- In the Open dialog box, you can specify what kind of file you want to save or open. Choose the file type you want to open or save from the popup menu, or choose All Files to display all the files in the current directory regardless of file type. By default, All Readable Files is selected.
- Choose Finale Notation File (.MUSX) to display "regular" PrintMusic files.
- Choose Finale Legacy Notation File (.MUS) to display a document saved in an earlier version.
- Choose MIDI File to display standard MIDI Files created in PrintMusic or a sequencer program.
- In the Place Graphic dialog box, choose either a particular graphics file type from the popup menu or All Files to display files of all types. PrintMusic supports BMP, EPS, GIF, JPG, PICT, PNG, and TIFF file formats.
