Save As dialog box
How to get there
Choose File > Save As.
What it does
In this dialog box you can specify what kind of file you want to create and in which folder PrintMusic should save it.
- Save In. From this drop-down list select the folder in which you want to save your file.
- File Name. In this text box, enter a name for a new file. If there’s already a file with the same name in this folder, PrintMusic will ask you if you want to replace it with the new file. If you do not provide an extension after the name, PrintMusic automatically adds one to correspond to the selected File Type.
- Save as type: Finale Notation File (*.MUSX) • Finale Template File (*.FTMX). Choose the type of file you want to save from the Save as type drop-down list. A Finale Notation File (.MUSX) is a standard notation file. Select Finale Template File if you want to create a template from which you can create other PrintMusic documents with the same settings.
